Day 87

We bought a potty chair today! She tells me EVERYTIME she goes pee or poops, so I'm thinking its about time we start moving in the potty training direction...hopefully she won't be tooo horrible about it. I'm posting a happy smiley picture in hopes that our potty training experience will be happy and smiley? I can dream at least!

Day 86

Evie loves to pretend to eat, its one of her favorite things now. She also really likes to feed other people her imaginary food. Clearly this was a before bed snack she was eating and giggling over. She even made sure she shared with me.

Yeah, I forgot till the end of the day again. Go me. She has been playing with that little bug toy thing a ton lately...she absolutely loves it all of a sudden even though she got it last year for her birthday...

Day 80

Really forgetful lately, but I got one of her!!! Just not a great one, and I didn't even bother cutting it down to be a 4x6 yet, oh the laziness. Papa came over that day I believe, and we had papa ginos too!! SO good!

We played on the bed after she got home from her Dad's house...she likes to be thrown onto the bed, she thinks its the best thing ever apparently.

Day 77

I felt like being lazy with Evie's hair/trying something new with it. It kind of worked, but not entirely. I barely remembered to take a picture this day because it was a Brad day, so I have a lot less time to do it.

Day 76

Evie got chalk all over herself, you can kind of see in this picture. She also had a perfect star on her butt from sitting on a very colored in blue star, but I didn't get a decent shot of it, so this will have to do.

Day 75

I've been really slacking on posting, and I'm not really sure why. I have pictures for everyday I think? I hope I do anyway. I am going to TRY to post them closer to when I actually take them, but I make no promises!

Day 74

Last day at camp, she had SO much fun there. Glad we're going again next year...I bought her a sweatshirt that was HUGE on her, but she'll grow into it eventually. The campground has a carousel and Evie absolutely loved it, she went on with my Uncle Peter, I didn't trust myself to go on with her, I have poor balance sometimes. The last one is Evie waving bye to the camp and my Aunt's family.

Day 73

Evie's "Papa"( my mom's boyfriend) came up too...I forgot to mention that. She absolutely adores him, he took her to the ball field and all she wanted to do was walk on the benches, so of course that is what she got to do.

Day 72

My mom, Evie and I went up to Papoose Pond in Maine for a camping weekend thing. It was lots of fun. My Aunt and Uncle were also up there with their 2 kids, Zach and Zoe. Evie had a fantastic time up there. Going for a whole week next year, and a weekend at a different time next summer too. Zoe kept wanting to carry Evie, so I let her from time to time for as long as she wanted/could handle.

Day 71

I was super busy getting ready for our weekend camping trip, that I totally spaced out on taking pictures, and I only realized this now. Sorry!!

So, I just now realized I did not take a picture of Evie, or ANYTHING today...so instead, let me introduce you to the only other living thing I can keep alive...Percivus!!

My little cousin Cilian came over for a little while to play with Evie. They both had a great time, and this is probably one of my favorite pictures ever. The second picture just kind of reminds me of Charlie Brown, which means I love it.

Evie's starting to try and climb UP the slide...I should have seen this coming.

She is insisting on doing the bubbles by herself now, hopefully soon she figures out that swinging the wand around while making blowing sounds is not actually very effective, though she has fun with it anyway, I guess thats what counts?

Day 66

Evie likes to play with my junk flute while I practice flute/saxophone. I forgot to take pictures earlier, so here is Evie with that flute.

Day 65

Went to a park with Kails and the girl she babysits, Audrey. Evie loved it for the most part, but she does NOT like tunnels. Also, somehow Evie understands the basic concept of basketball, but I am not sure how...she kept going up to the basketball hoops and trying to jump while appearing to pretend throw a ball. Very strange.

Day 64

Yes, we are on the slide again...I took a video today of her going cross eyed though on a different note. I couldn't time well enough to get a picture sadly. Shes a strange child.

Day 63

Brad canceled on taking Evie, so she spent the day with us. I cannot get this girl off the slide lately, for $7 that was the best purchase ever, for sure. She likes to draw on it too...and sometimes just sit up there.

Day 62

I stole James in the morning to come play with Evie. They were both so good thankfully, and surprisingly( usually Evie wants nothing to do with James) played really well together. I'm hoping I can steal James like that again soon, since it went so well and its so good for both of them.

Day 61

More slide play for today...she likes to take the ball and send it down the slide.

Day 60

My moms friend Peg bought Evie a little slide at a yard sale for $7. Evie absolutely loves it even though I kind of think shes a little big for it...it probably won't be able to come back next summer, but it at least can last the rest of this summer, right?

Day 59

We got a kitten!!!! We got her at the MSPCA, and haven't named her yet. They were calling her "Pretty Princess", but we just don't like that for her. Anyone have any brilliant name ideas please do share.

Day 58

My mom and I babysat my cousin Zach Friday morning and then brought him back home and hung out at his house with my Aunt for a while to plan what to bring on our camping weekend on September 18th. I didn't get any pictures of Zach and Evie playing together, but he is so good with her..pushed her around in her little car for a while.

I've been really busy this week, my friend is visiting for two weeks only so I haven't had them to post my pictures up, but I do have them. Hopefully I'll be able to do them tonight, but I make no promises!

Day 55

We went to my moms cousin Alice's house today. Evie absolutely loved her dog, and he was SO good with her, he jumps on people, and he just walked up and gave her "kisses". I wish I got a better picture of what was going on, he was wagging his tail on the couch, and she would go to touch it and get hit by it, and start cracking up laughing...and proceed to do it again.

Evie decided she wanted to do the bubbles all by herself, it was cute. She wouldn't blow on the bubble wand to get them though, she waved it around like crazy instead, luckily for her it was a super windy day.

Day 51

Went to York's Wild Kingdom( its in York, Maine for those who don't know) today with Dad and Deb for Evie's Birthday sort of? They aren't invited to her birthday party, so we did this instead while its still nice enough weather to do it and all that. Evie had a great time, was a little shy at first, but she warmed up to them well. I believe they had a good day with her too, so yay!! We went to Skips for lunch after that, a late lunch...but still fantastic.
